Script.......Ron McLean
Director.......Bill Hughes

Synopsis: As a result of a fatal car accident in which some Glenview students are killed, Tony Moore is charged with drunk driving and his school friends desert him.

Notes: A scene showing a car accident and resultant explosion in which the car burst into flames was the single most expensive scene in the series. Producer and scriptwriter Ron McLean said he had to do a bit of budget juggling to accommodate the scene: "The scene lasts 75 seconds in the completed version, and the cars were the least of the cost. The 75 seconds you see on screen will have cost $150 per second. The programme probes drinking among teenagers and the accident makes the Tony character into quite a villain among his schoolmates - after all, his apparent irresponsibility has cost the lives of their friends."15
